The Car
Radio controlled model Hot Rods and Stock Cars are based on the full sized cars, they are powered by a 3.5cc glow engine (nitro).
Due to there light yet strong design they are capable of reaching speeds of 40 mph. There are several body shells available
both classic and modern.
The Racing
Race meetings are run on a basis of heats to qualify for places in the semi-finals and final. Each driver has 4 rounds (if possible) with
the best 3 counting. We run a winter and summer championship with some drivers also entering into national events across the country each year.
Drivers are graded according to their ability and a handicap system is then used.
